Look forward to FOUR DAYS of sharing and innovation

Nestled on the shores of Lake Geneva and at the heart of one of Europe’s most dynamic research ecosystems, Lausanne will offer an inspiring setting where science, innovation, collaboration, and culture come together.

Here is a first glimpse of the provisional programme*, being prepared for the international biobanking community in Lausanne:

DAY 1. On-site visits will be organized to explore different biobanks within the Swiss network, as well as selected facilities at EPFL, one of Europe’s leading research universities, ideally located next to the convention center.

DAY 2. The official welcome reception will take place at the Rolex Learning Center located at the heart of EPFL. Participants will also discover the SwissTech Convention Center, where the EBW27 will be held.

DAY 3. Did you know Lausanne is the Olympic Capital? Inspired by the capital’s motto, “Move as One,” the biobanking community will come together for a memorable evening at the Olympic Museum. Following an optional visit to the museum, participants will enjoy the gala dinner in this exceptional setting overlooking Lake Geneva.

DAY 4. A special stakeholder and public engagement event will be organised around the EPFL campus, creating opportunities for the local Vaud community to learn more about biobanking and its impact on research, healthcare, and society.
